A sculptured portrait in plaster of one of Australia's leading sportsmen of the 1920-30s. Born in South Australia, Richardson was captain of the Australian test team, and represented Australia in baseball. He captained the state football team and won the Magarey Medal. He also played in the state golf team, won the state tennis title and was a leading player in lacrosse, basketball and swimming.
