Martin Berge belongs to the younger generation of Danish painters. He departed from the Royal Copenhagen. Danish Academy of Arts in Copenhagen in 2000 with the professors Stig Br?gger and Ursula Reuter Christiansen.

The artist's works contain structures of great spatial effect. His picturesque expression can in short form be described as coloristic and reduced, poetic landscapes that open up through focusing on the individual elements of nature and the surroundings.
