The RB02 bench is a brutal assemblage of materials held together with black rubber bands. With this seemingly improvised connection, aluminum plates, steel tubes and stainless steel rods are forming the fundamental structure of a bench.
Here, as materials are stacked onto one another, the trace of the maker is absent, shaping and drawing are non-existent. Only a careful selection of materials, finishes and proportions remains, questioning the integrity of the bench as a complete object.
