The daughter of a very talented seamstress who started off tackling the patterns of Vogue designers such as: Guy Laroche, Nina Ricci, Yves Saint Laurent, Jean Patou, Valentino, Givenchy, Christian Dior, Pucci, Oscar de La Renta and Ralph Lauren , I was often consulted about design, colors, fabric. It was fun and really an art. In time, my dad helped my mother develop her talent and take it to another level by helping her design her own clothing. Together they turned out some incredible pieces. While I didn't sew much, I did enjoy studying fashion and found it fun uncovering that hidden gem in a thrift store, auction or estate sale, and then more recently, on the internet.
