MINERSCOOP BRIEF PROFILE
Miners Co-Operatives was founded in July of 1992 by a German mining engineer Otto Schneider in conjunction with other small and medium scale miners at Baminanko in the Axim District of the Western Region of Ghana, due to its positive activities in the sub region it spread its tentacles to other parts of West Africa with representation all over the West African states where mining activities takes place.
The sole aim and objective of the Miners Co-Operatives from inception is to protect the interest of the underdogs in the mining industry (small & medium scale miners) by grouping them under one umbrella with the objective of helping to market their end product in the international market and assist in purchasing for them when required mining equipments and upgrading the safety standard of the miners at work, instilling discipline and avoid any kind of splinter group that might work to their detriment or try to break the law in anyway or form.
