The Asain Venture Capital Journal is a weetly magazine covering Asia's private equity and venture capital markets. Founded in 1988, the Journal is read on three continents as the publication of record on Asia's venture capital and private equity markets. Since 1995, AVCJ has organized the annual Global Asian Venture Forum, whose yearly venues have included London, New York, San Francisco, Tokyo, Seoul, Bombay, and Singapore. The Asian Venture Forum in Hong Kong remains the largest and most respected yearly event for fund managers, institutional investors, corporate executives, and professionals involved in Asian private equity. AVCJ also sponsors the Asian Venture Capital Institute, a training session in which investment professionals learn from, the interact with Asian private equity leaders. AVCJ will launch its interactive net courses in the Fall 2002. Directories AVCJ publishes two definitive guides, the Guide to Venture Capital in Asia and The Annual Guide to Asian M & A. Research AVCJ maintains the most extensive database on Asian private equity and M & A related activity with over 18,000 records.
